1957 Chevy Truck

1957 Chevy 3100 Big Back Window Pickup
2nd owner of this 90,000 original mile truck from California,
for the last 25 years. I dirve it only in the summer,
and garage kept the rest. Needed surgery requires the sale of this prized possession.
No Rust Ever. Was an original V-8, Powerglide Deluxe cab stepside, only 360 made.
Less than 600 miles on fresh, modified 350 V-8 with 700-R4 overdrive automatic trans.,
both color matched to the outside body. 28 coats of PPG rediant red pearl & clear
coat,
over $20k in paint. A show winner many times, and great Highway cruiser with the 223 rear
gears.
Will get 22 mpg. Bed stake pockets & end rails filled,
as well as all factory bed holes for lights, tailgate chains, lic. plate, etc.
Roll pan on rear, smoothed front bumper. Smoothed firewall
& custom hidden battery. Have polished aluminum under-hood piece made,
but not installed yet. No tubs on rear tires, 295-60 x 15, pretty fat.
1972 Chevy rally wheels & caps, matching steering wheel. Custom exhaust &
Interior,
Carpet from top of under dash to back window, including step area.
Sound dampening in doors and under floor, very quiet inside.
Custom Autosound AM-FM radio w/cassette in original position,
with original knobs. Bed wood has been replaced with New kit but needs refinishing again.
I was going to install a Dakota Digital dash kit, as the speedo quit last year,
but never got around to it yet. Original chassis suspension,
but modified to slightly lower both front and back, really nice ride height.
The "V" in the doors indicates original V-8 factory truck, quite rare.
Also original shroud set back for V-8 engine.
Radiator is Dodge truck 4 row core for max cooling, but looks stock.
All tubing is red anodized to compliment the matching engine & trans,
fuel lines and vacum lines also red anodized tube.
Over 3,000 hours have gone into this long time projuct, not all of which are loving
moments.
I am asking $28,000 for my truck and realize it is worth much more,
but I need the money by Oct 10th for my surgery, if possible.
